2026 SCHEDULE

Practice Rounds: For those brothers who arrive early enough and would like to schedule a practice round at Perdido Bay Golf Club, call the pro shop for a tee time at (850) 492-1223. Practice rounds are NOT included in your tournament registration. There is a good chance you will run into some brothers at the course getting in those last minute preparations.

Check in: Be sure to stop by the courtesy cottage between 3-6 p.m. to check in for the weekend’s events. Tee times for Friday should be available. Also, pick up your tournament badges and other goodies for the weekend.

Opening Night Cook Out: Join us at Perdido Bay Golf Club for our annual Opening Night Cook Out starting at 6 p.m. Grab some great food and meet brothers from around the country who will be competing in this year’s tournament. Additionally, meet some of the active members of the local University of West Florida chapter. We will do a quick review of the rules for the tournament, and participate in a chipping contest to a challenging floating green placed out in the bay. Maps will be available at the courtesy cottage.

Tournament Round 1:

Better Ball: 2-man teams compete in a better ball competition during Round 1. Each player will play their ball, recording their individual scores and recording a team score using the lowest individual score on the hole. Players with a GHIN handicap must enter their GHIN number on their registration for verification. Players without a GHIN handicap will need to enter their average score and a course handicap will be determined for you. These handicaps will be used to determine a team handicap for purposes of flighting.

Chet’s Seafood Dinner: Following Round 1 play on Friday, join us as the courtesy cottage for Chet’s Seafood Dinner served about 6 p.m. During dinner, we will post tee times for Round 2 on Saturday.

Tournament Round 2:

Scramble: 2-man teams will compete in a scramble for Round 2 of the tournament.

Tournament trophies for each flight will be awarded at the courtesy cottage following the completion of play and calculating of scores for Round 2. Additionally, prizes may be awarded for a closest to the pin and long drive.
